Digital Twin Water Conservancy

Aims & Scope

Digital Twin technology, as a transformative approach, is reshaping the operational model of the water conservancy industry. Digital Twin Water Conservancy constructs virtual digital models of water conservancy projects and hydrological processes, achieving real-time mapping and dynamic simulation of the physical water conservancy system. It integrates multi-source data, including hydrological monitoring data, meteorological information, geographical information, and project operation data, thereby enabling precise allocation of water resources, intelligent flood early warning, and full-life-cycle management of water conservancy projects. Through the Digital Twin model, the flood evolution process under different rainfall scenarios can be simulated, providing a scientific basis for flood control decision-making. Meanwhile, it can optimize the scheduling plans of water conservancy projects, improve the efficiency of water resource utilization, and contribute to the digital transformation and sustainable development of the water conservancy industry. This conference aims to showcase innovative research from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and to explore the challenges and opportunities brought about by the integration of Digital Twin technology and water conservancy applications.

The session will focus on the following aspects:

▪Methods and applications of the integration of water conservancy projects and Digital Twin technology.

▪Applications of Digital Twin technology in water network integration.

▪Applications of Digital Twin technology in irrigation districts.

▪Applications of intelligent sensing devices in Digital Twin Water Conservancy.

▪Applications of artificial intelligence in Digital Twin Water Conservancy.

▪Research on the application of Digital Twin Water Conservancy in flood and water quality management.
