Welcome

Prof. Stefan Pickl Prof. Fei Tao
Dear Distinguished Guests, Colleagues, and Friends,
On behalf of the Digital Twin International Scientific Committee (DTIAC) and the Organizing Committee, we warmly welcome and sincerely thank you to participate in the 5th Digital Twin International Conference (DigiTwin 2025).
As a transformative force driving social progress and industrial innovation, digital twin technology is reshaping our world at an unprecedented pace. By seamlessly integrating the physical and digital realms, it enables revolutionary advancements in smart manufacturing, urban development, aerospace, healthcare, and beyond. Beyond enhancing decision-making efficiency and resource optimization, digital twin propels industrial innovation and paradigm shifts, positioning itself at the forefront of technological progress while illuminating future possibilities.
The Digital Twin International Conference (DigiTwin) serves as a premier global platform for scientists, engineers, researchers, students, and industry professionals to exchange cutting-edge insights, address challenges, and explore opportunities in digital twin applications. Under the 2025 theme "Digital Twin: Optimizing Our World," we invite you to actively engage in discussions, share visionary ideas, and collectively advance this field toward broader horizons. We believe your contributions will spark interdisciplinary innovation and elevate digital twin technology to new heights.
Initiated by Prof. Fei Tao in 2018, the DigiTwin conference series has grown into a cornerstone event, with past editions held in China (2021), Australia (2022), France (2023), and Italy (2024). We are committed to sustaining this legacy for decades to come.
Many thanks to the strong support of all colleagues, especially the Chairs of the scientific sessions, the DigiTwin 2025 program covers a wide spectrum of topics on different facets of digital twin. We hope that the conference will build an international platform for the promotion of international collaboration on digital twin.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the session chairs and global colleagues whose expertise shaped the DigiTwin 2025 program's diverse technical tracks. Special thanks go to the Bundeswehr University Munich, International Institute for Interdisciplinary and Frontiers of Beihang University, Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and all sponsors for their invaluable support in fostering international collaboration.
We eagerly await your participation at DigiTwin 2025 to advance knowledge and foster collaboration. Thank you for registering—reach out to us for support at any time, and safe travels!
