The 10th Digital Twin and Smart Manufacturing Services Conference was held from September 4 to 6, 2026, in Changchun, China. The conference brought together nearly 500 representatives from more than 100 universities, research institutes, and enterprises from China and abroad.

Keynote Highlights

The conference featured keynote speeches by leading experts from academia and industry, including Professor Peigen Li, Professor Zhiwu Han, Professor Jianrong Tan, Professor Huayong Yang, Professor Xuesong Mei, Professor Fei Tao, Professor Yu Zheng, Dr. Wei Min, and Professor Zhewei Ye.

Their presentations explored a wide range of topics, including digital twins in next-generation intelligent manufacturing, intelligent bionics, generative AI and metaverse digital twins, embodied intelligent robotics, the evolution from digital twins to intelligent digital twins, industrial AI, and AI-driven brain-computer interface digital twins.

The 13 parallel sessions covered topics including: Digital Twin and Smart Design, Smart Manufacturing, Smart Bionics, Embodied Intelligent Robotics, Smart Operation and Maintenance, Human-Centric Smart Manufacturing, Industrial Software and Foundation Models, Manufacturing Processes, Deep Exploration, Industrial Applications, Healthcare, Experiment, Testing and Validation, and Engineering Education and Industrial Training.

The conference also featured an Outstanding Poster Award ceremony and a visit to the Jilin Bionic Robotics Innovation Center, providing participants with opportunities to exchange ideas and explore recent developments in bionic robotics and intelligent manufacturing.

The conference was guided by the International Society for Bionic Engineering, the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and the international journal Digital Twin, and hosted by Jilin University.
