Title: Digital twin phases and futures
Digital twins (DTs) are increasingly transforming both industrial processes and human daily life. By enabling simulation, prediction, response and control, and optimization of physical assets in a digital/virtual environment, DTs can enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support intelligent decision-makings. Over more than two decades, DTs have experienced three major phases based on the development priorities.
