Award Settings for DigiTwin 2026

At the DigiTwin 2026 event, the following awards will be announced.

DigiTwin 2026 presents a series of awards recognizing excellence in research, innovation, and service within the global digital twin community.

All awards are determined by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee in accordance with established evaluation criteria and standard academic conflict-of-interest practices.

I. Academic Excellence Awards

1. Outstanding Scientist Award

Open to internationally recognized scholars with significant and sustained contributions to digital twin research.

Nomination: Self-nominations and third-party nominations are permitted.

Selection: The recipient will be selected by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee.

Number of Awards: Up to one award may be granted.

2. Young Scientist Award

Open to researchers under the age of 40 on 1 January 2026.

Nomination: Self-nominations and third-party nominations are permitted.

Selection: The recipient will be selected by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee.

Number of Awards: Up to one award may be granted.

3. Best Paper Award

Eligible papers include those formally accepted for publication in the affiliated journals by 30 June 2026.

Selection: The award will be determined by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee based on academic quality and scholarly impact.

Number of Awards: One award will be granted.

4. Most Cited Paper Award

Eligible papers include those published in 2025.

Selection: Recipients will be determined based on citation data from Google Scholar as of 30 July 2026.

Number of Awards: Five awards will be granted.

II. Conference Presentation Awards

5. Best Presentation Award

All presentations delivered at DigiTwin 2026 are eligible.

Selection Process: Each session chair will nominate one presentation. Final recipients will be selected by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee.

Number of Awards: Two awards will be granted.

6. Best Student Presentation Award

All student presentations delivered at DigiTwin 2026 are eligible. The presenting author must be enrolled as a student at the time of submission.

Selection Process: Each session chair will nominate one student presentation. The final recipient will be selected by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee.

Number of Awards: One award will be granted.

III. Contribution & Service Awards

7. Innovation Application Award

Open to companies, research institutes, or collaborative teams demonstrating excellence in the development and implementation of digital twin applications.

Selection: Awardees will be selected by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee.

Number of Awards: One to two awards may be granted.

8. Outstanding Organization Award

Open to organizations that have made sustained contributions to the development of the DigiTwin conference series.

Selection: The award will be determined by the DigiTwin 2026 Awards Committee based on overall contribution and service.

Number of Awards: One award will be granted.

General Provisions

*Submission of Nomination Materials:
For awards requiring nomination materials, please submit the completed nomination form by email to the DigiTwin 2026 conference secretariat at secretariat@idea-global.net.

The Awards Committee reserves the right not to grant an award if no suitable candidate is identified.

All decisions of the Awards Committee are final.

Any conflicts of interest will be managed in accordance with standard academic practice.
