The International Digital Engineering Association (IDEA) envisions a globally interconnected ecosystem where digital engineering drives innovation, sustainability, and efficiency across industries.
Our mission is to establish standardized frameworks, foster multidisciplinary collaboration, and advance cutting-edge technologies that enable seamless integration of digital tools across engineering lifecycles—from design and simulation to operation and optimization.

This digital twin system is designed to verify and optimize the assembly process for satellite production. It creates a virtual model of a pulsed assembly line comprising six workstations and thirty-five distinct processes. The system enables real-time monitoring and analysis of each step—from AGV transport and robotic arm operations to gluing, fastening, and quality inspection—by synchronizing data from sensors, vision systems, and control devices. It supports in-line quality checks, predicts assembly outcomes, and generates inspection reports, thereby enhancing transparency and precision throughout the assembly lifecycle. Validated in an operational setting, the system has demonstrated improved efficiency, quality control, and process reliability in satellite manufacturing.
